Cerebral Institute of Discovery - Neurotransmitters

This page is the only directory of neurotransmitter related links on the web today!

Neurotransmitters are the basic chemical chains that comprise our mobility, memory, emotions, perceptions, and attitudes. Variations or breakdowns in these chains can greatly affect our day-to-day lives.
The recent upswing in usage of anti-depressant SSRI's (Prozac, Zoloft, etc.) is probably the most notable result of neurotransmitter studies. More and more of these type drugs will become available in the next decade, as we learn more intimately the role neurotransmitters play.
