Cerebral Institute of Discovery - Metaprogramming

The term metaprogramming was coined by Dr. John Lilly in his book, Programming and Metaprogramming in the Human Biocomputer (http://www.garage.co.jp/lilly/metaprog00.html) in reference to programming or re-programming the human biocomputer. An anonymous poster wrote this wonderful, practical description of metaprogramming (http://www.leri.org/institute/psyche/spigot.html). You might even call it self-help, but metaprogramming, in our book, refers to any effort to form or break conscious or subconscious behavioral habits.
